Peter Mayer announces five new hires

Peter Mayer today announced it has hired five new employees, as the firm continues to grow in order to meet the needs of its clients.

“We’re excited about these hires. These staffers will help us continue our mission of producing smart, creative solutions for our partners,” said Mark A. Mayer, agency president.

Nate Batts has been hired as a Developer. Nate previously worked as the director of Web development for a New Orleans startup, where he handled day-to-day operations, site design/development and client management. Before that, he spent more than two years working for Design the Planet, creating websites for more than 30 New Orleans based organizations. Nate has a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in Internet technology from Marlboro College.

Nicole Chopin has been hired as a Marketing Coordinator. Nicole, a native of New Orleans, recently held outside sales roles for Aerotek Staffing and LivingSocial. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from The University of Tampa.

Larry Clark has been hired as a Group Creative Director. Larry has more than 11 years experience in the advertising industry, doing work for such well-known brands as Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, Napa Auto Parts and Walmart. He is a U.S. Navy combat veteran. He graduated summa cum laude from the International Academy of Design.

Courtney Cola has been hired as a Junior Account Executive. Courtney is a native of New Orleans who has worked as an intern for Black Entertainment Television, RedPeg Marketing and Ogilvy & Mather. In May, she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Howard University.

Matt Ketchum has been hired as a Copywriter. Matt comes from Erwin Penland Advertising, where he was a copywriter. He graduated from The Creative Circus with a certificate in copywriting.
