Peter Mayer announces 27 new hires

Peter Mayer Advertising Inc. today announced it has hired 27 new members to its staff over the past eight months, according to Mark Mayer, agency president. The new hires were made to meet the demands of the rapidly growing agency.

Patrick Bernhard has been hired as an Interactive Strategist. Patrick joins Peter Mayer from StrawberryFrog in New York, where he worked with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Pampers, BlackBerry and Jim Beam. He earned a master’s in communications studies from Hofstra University and a bachelor’s in international communication from Lynn University.

Reba Billips has been hired as a Studio Specialist. Reba comes from the company’s summer internship program. She earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts from Loyola University.

Timothy Boone has been hired as a Public Relations Account Executive in Peter Mayer’s Baton Rouge office. Timothy comes to the agency after more than five years as online news editor for the Baton Rouge Business Report. An LSU graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, he has nearly 18 years experience with newspapers and business magazines in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Creighton Chamberlain has been hired as a Senior Interactive Art Director. Creighton spent the past 12 years working in the interactive departments at multiple agencies in New York City, where his clients included numerous entertainment and Fortune 500 companies. He earned a bachelor’s in graphic design from Middle Tennessee State University.

Jeremy Corbett has been hired as the first QA Analyst. He will define and implement Quality Assurance. Jeremy joins Peter Mayer after a seven-year stint at iSeatz, where he most recently served as lead QA analyst.

Jamie Davenport has been hired as a Graphic Artist. Jamie was a freelance designer and student before joining Peter Mayer. Jamie earned a bachelor’s in advertising from the University of West Florida and graduated from the Creative Circus with a certificate in graphic design.

Kevin deLeon has been hired as an Interactive Developer. He previously worked at All-Spec Industries in Wilmington, N.C. A native of Louisiana, Kevin earned a bachelor’s in computer information systems from Louisiana Tech University.

Dominique Donoghoe has been hired as a Senior Account Executive. Dominique had previously been with CaptureCode, a New Orleans company that specializes in loyalty marketing in mobile technology. Before that, she was with BBDO in San Francisco as an account management team member working with Caesars Entertainment. She earned a bachelor’s in English from Tulane University.

Monique Dupas has been hired as a Proofreader/Copy Editor. Before joining Peter Mayer, she taught English as a second language at Yasufuruichi High School in Hiroshima, Japan. Monique earned a bachelor’s in English and comparative literary studies from Occidental College and a master’s in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Hollie Garrison has been hired as a Studio Specialist. Hollie comes from Naked Pizza, where she worked as a graphic designer. She earned a bachelor’s in mass communications–­public relations from Nicholls State University and a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Brad Grantham has been hired as a Public Relations Account Supervisor in Peter Mayer’s Baton Rouge office. Brad spent nearly 20 years behind the scenes in broadcast news, the majority in news management. He has worked at network television stations in North Carolina, Tennessee and Louisiana. He most recently served as assistant news director at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge. He earned a bachelor’s in mass communications from LSU.

Jordan Gunter has been hired as a Graphic Designer. Jordan had previously been working as a designer for Zehnder Communications in New Orleans. Jordan earned a bachelor’s in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia and studied graphic design at the Portfolio Center.

Katherine Hogg has been hired as an Associate Project Manager. Katherine previously worked as a Junior Account Executive at Peter Mayer, working on accounts such as New Orleans Tourism and Jazz Fest. She earned a bachelor’s in public relations with a minor in journalism from the University of Texas–Arlington.

Amy Hubbell has been hired as Director of Strategy. Amy spent the past six years operating her own strategy and consulting business, working for clients such as Whitney Bank, Accenture and Gannett Co. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola and an MBA from Tulane.

Chris Just has been hired as a Creative Director. Chris comes from Hill Holiday/Erwin-Penland in Greenville, S.C., where he was associate creative director. He earned a bachelor’s in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Adrianne Kimbell has been hired as a Senior Designer. She spent more than nine years working in design, marketing and advertising, most recently serving as a senior designer at Soloflight Design in Atlanta, Ga. Adrianne holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Florida and a graduate degree in design from the Portfolio Center.

Gray Mitchell has been hired as the IT Director. Gray comes from Health Corporation of America on the North Shore, where he was division information security officer. Gray, an information security expert with a number of technical certifications, has a bachelor’s in sociology from Millsaps College and an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Alicia Mora has been hired as a Senior Project Manager. Alicia spent six years working for Nike. Before entering advertising, she worked as a producer for ESPN and Fox Sports. Mora earned a Bachelor of Arts and Letters from Portland State University.

Paulina Nguyen has been hired as an Associate Interactive Designer. Paulina comes from the company’s summer internship program. She is a native New Orleanian and earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from LSU.

Ryan Page has been hired as a Studio Specialist. Ryan comes from the internal design department of Naked Pizza, where he handled direct mail, sales and promotional advertising. Ryan, a native of Louisiana, earned a bachelor’s in graphic design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Andrew Smith has been hired as a Project Manager. Andrew had previously been a project coordinator on the Whitney National Bank Genesis Project. He was also head project manager for MyGofer.com, a new brand of K-Mart.com and Sears.com. Andrew earned a degree in broadcasting communications from the University of Tennessee.

India Wantland has been hired as a Payroll Administrator. India, a native of New Orleans, spent the past 10 years in the accounting department for Fresenius Medical Care, handling accounts receivable, payroll, collections and human resources.

Lauren Wegmann has been hired as a Senior Account Executive. Lauren was most recently at Trumpet, where she worked on accounts for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Louisiana Tobacco Free Living and the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola.

Sabrina Wood has been hired as an Associate Project Manager. Sabrina comes from Dukky in Mandeville, where she was an account manager. Sabrina earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.

Danielle Worley has been hired as a Project Manager. Danielle previously worked for a New Orleans ad agency as a production coordinator, handling events for Louisiana Economic Development, Voodoo Music Experience and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau. She earned a degree from Tulane.

Meg Wright has been hired as an Account Executive. Before joining Peter Mayer, Meg was a senior account executive with Hamilton Communications in Chicago. She earned a bachelor’s in business from Miami University and a master’s in public relations and advertising from DePaul University.

Blake Young joins Peter Mayer as an Interactive Designer. Blake comes from Berning Marketing, where he designed work for a range of clients including Coca-Cola, National Geographic and PBS. He also worked client-side as an art director for AT&T.
