NEW ORLEANS—Peter A. Mayer Advertising has been recognized as one of the 2009 Best Places to Work by New Orleans CityBusiness. This year marks the fourth time in the last seven years the agency has made the list, with previous nominations in 2006, 2004 and 2003. Because of the nomination, the agency will be profiled in a special feature to be published in the newspaper’s December 14 issue.

New Orleans CityBusiness began the Best Places to Work list seven years ago in an effort to honor the city’s top 50 employers. Each year, nominations are split into two categories: large and small businesses. Peter A. Mayer Advertising is nominated in the large category. A nomination is based on what an organization delivers for its employees such as health benefits, average salary, paid vacation and personal time, as well as beneficial employee development programs.

Peter A. Mayer Advertising, along with the other nominees, will be recognized at a special luncheon on December 11 at the Sheraton on Canal Street where New Orleans CityBusiness will also reveal the top three Best Places to Work in each category.
