Peter Mayer made a good showing at the 2011 MAX Awards, the first edition of an annual competition hosted by the American Marketing Association’s New Orleans chapter.
The agency won three of the 18 total awards given, including a 2011 Marketing Award of Excellence for a print campaign promoting New Orleans tourism.
Developed by Peter Mayer in 2010 and still running today, the print campaign represents a collaboration between two different clients, the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation promoting leisure travel and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau promoting business and convention travel. Although the two organizations operate separately, they worked in collaboration to speak with a singular voice.
Peter Mayer also won two 2011 MAX Award Certificates of Merit, for the Be the One campaign developed for Women of the Storm and the Business Champion Testimonials campaign created for Louisiana Economic Development.
