Peter Mayer announces five new hires

Peter Mayer today announced it hired five new employees in April, as the firm continues to grow in order to meet the needs of clients.

“We’ve hired these people so we can keep providing the same innovative ideas, high quality of service and attention to detail that all our clients expect – from the accounts we have had for years to the potential new customers,” said Mark A. Mayer, agency president.

Christopher Arcuri has been hired as Print Production Manager on the CenturyLink account. Christopher comes from Trosclair Printing in Plaquemine, where he handled everything from customer service to preflighting final files. He earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from LSU.

Arielle Jordan has been hired as a Project Manager. Arielle, a native of New Orleans, came from Laitram, a global manufacturing company located in Harahan, where she worked in the advertising department. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, with a concentration in advertising, from LSU.

Katherine LeBlanc has been hired as a Senior Public Relations Account Executive. Katherine spent the past three years working as communications director for the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Before that, Katherine was a marketing manager for W Hotels in three markets – New Orleans, Atlanta and Chicago. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee.

Kristy McDaniel has been hired as an Account Director. Kristy comes from Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), where she was a marketing executive handling accounts in the U.S. cable, media and entertainment industry. Before that, she was at Time Warner Cable, where she played a key role in launching the company’s Business Class services. She earned an MBA in international business from George Washington University.

Kristin Popham has been hired as a Senior Studio Specialist. Kristin previously worked as a senior designer at Erwin Penland Advertising in Greenville, S.C., mainly handling their Verizon account. She earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
