New Orleans, LA (November 28, 2007) – Peter A. Mayer Advertising Inc. today announced promotions and new members of its staff, according to Mark A. Mayer, agency president.
Jeremy Braud – Interactive Media Director
Jeremy Braud joins Peter A. Mayer in the Media Department as the agency’s first interactive media director. Jeremy has worked with online media since the beginning, first in San Francisco, then in Los Angeles. Before returning to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Jeremy worked with Microsoft, The Wall Street Journal and 3Com in San Francisco, and with GM, General Mills, Honda, CheapTickets, Virgin, Hotels.com and BMC Software in Los Angeles.
Lisa Costa – Account Executive
Lisa Costa joins Peter A. Mayer as an account executive on the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism (LCRT) account. Prior to joining Peter A. Mayer, Lisa worked as an account executive with GMc Advertising. Lisa’s experience with tourism includes work with the Louisiana Superdome and the New Orleans Multicultural Tourism Network. A native of New Orleans, Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio/Art History from Tulane University.
Christie Meador – Media Accounting Coordinator
Christie Meador joins Peter A. Mayer in the Media Department as a media accounting coordinator. She has ten years experience with the New Orleans Publishing Group in a variety of positions, including receptionist, advertising coordinator and classified sales account executive. Christie is originally from New Orleans.
Jeremy Sanders – Graphic Artist
Jeremy Sanders joins Peter A. Mayer in the Creative Department as a graphic artist. Jeremy previously worked with the New Orleans Publishing Group through Dolan Media Company before moving to Colorado, where he worked with Colorado Publishing Company, also part of Dolan Media Company. Jeremy is originally from New Orleans and earned his Associate of Science in Visual Communication with honors from Delgado College.
John Shirley – Traffic Coordinator
John Shirley joins Peter A. Mayer as a traffic coordinator in the Traffic Department. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in May 2007 with a bachelor degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Shortly after graduation, John began interning at Peter A. Mayer for the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation account. He was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi.
