New Orleans, LA (September 22, 2006) –Peter A. Mayer Advertising Inc. today announced new members of its staff, according to Mark A. Mayer, agency president.
Jordy Luft – Director of Media
Jordy is a recent addition to the Peter A. Mayer team and brings with him 20+ years of media and marketing experience. Prior to joining the agency, he served as Director of Research Services for Tribune Television New Orleans (WGNO-TV/WNOL-TV) where he managed all sales, news and programming research projects. His responsibilities also included the development of all station media and promotional plans. At Tribune, Jordy was a member of the Senior Management Team and Strategic Planning/Visioning Committee.
From 1988-1997, Jordy was employed by Bauerlein, Inc. in a variety of media capacities, most notably Planning Supervisor and Associate Media Director. There, he worked on a numerous array of local, regional and national accounts including 10-K Thirst Quencher, Suntory Water Group, Delchamps Supermarkets, Entergy, the Louisiana Lottery and Hooter’s Restaurants. Earlier jobs in the advertising arena were Broadcast Media Director of D.H. Holmes Department Stores and Media Director of Keating, Magee & Associates.
A graduate of LSU with a degree in Journalism, Jordy is a certified adult literacy tutor and is the music director of an area church.
Clay McKaskle – Graphic Artist
Clay McKaskle has been hired by Peter Mayer as a Graphic Artist. Clay hails from West Monroe, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana Tech University. His comes to the Agency after working as a typesetter and graphic designer at Associated Printing in West Monroe.
Marie Bourgeois – Graphic Artist
Marie Bourgeois joins the Peter Mayer team as a Graphic Artist. She is a native of Lafayette, LA and recently graduated from Loyola University New Orleans.
Stephanie Douglass – Traffic Coordinator
Stephanie Douglas, a native New Orleanian and graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, has been hired as a traffic coordinator. She comes to Peter Mayer after working in Atlanta at Greystar Property Management.
Trey Bernard – Interactive Developer
Trey joins the Peter Mayer team as an Interactive Developer. He is originally from Covington, LA and then St. Petersburg, FL. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. Before coming the Peter Mayer, Trey worked for Innovative Advertising in Covington and operated his own independent web development and design company.
Stephanie Kaston – Assistant Public Relations Account Executive
Stephanie Kaston is the latest addition to the public relations team at Peter Mayer. She joins the firm as a PR Assistance Account Executive. Stephanie was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from American University’s School of Public Affairs in Washington, DC. She has held internships with Senator Mary Landrieu’s office and Qorvis Communications in DC.
Brandon Page – Assistant Print Production Manager
Brandon Page is a recent addition to Peter Mayer and comes on board as an Assistant Print Production Manager. He is a native of New Orleans and received both his BS in marketing and MBA from the University of New Orleans. Most recently, he was an adjunct business professor at Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
Lisa Kozinko – Media Accounting Assistant
Lisa Kozinko has joined the Peter Mayer Media Department as a Media Accounting Assistant. She recently moved to New Orleans from Orlando, FL, where she spent 13 years as the National Sales Coordinator for Fox Tripoly. She is a graduate of Sante Fe Community College.
Torrey Theall – Junior Advertising Account Executive
Torrey Theall joins the Peter Mayer team as a Junior Account Executive. His is originally from the Lafayette, LA area. Torrey received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his MBA in Marketing from Tulane University.
