Peter Mayer announces six new hires

Peter Mayer today announced it has hired six new employees, as the firm continues to build its workforce to meet current and future client demands.

Robin Bouie has been hired as a Human Resources Generalist. Robin has been working in the human resources field for the past 10 years, most recently at Circle K, where she was in charge of creating and administering employee training programs. Robin earned a certificate in human resources management from Tulane University.

Leigh Anne Ellis has been hired as a Senior Account Executive. Leigh Anne comes from Simplex Healthcare of Nashville, Tenn., where she spent the past four years working as a social media strategist and a marketing manager. Leigh Anne, a native of Jackson, Miss., earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi.

Rebecca Hollis has been hired as a Senior Art Director. Rebecca comes from the Ramey Agency of Jackson, Miss., where she spent five years as an art director. During that time, she worked on campaigns for clients such as Viking Range, the Mississippi Museum of Art and the Mississippi Development Authority. Rebecca earned a bachelor’s degree in art with an emphasis on graphic design from the University of Mississippi.

Eric Olivier has been hired as a Studio Specialist. Eric is a native of Slidell who has worked as an intern for Modiphy Design Studio and Xdesign Inc., both in Baton Rouge. In May, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a graphic design concentration from LSU.

Matt Oubre has been hired as a Graphic Designer. Matt is a native of Luling who has worked as a graphic designer for the past nine years. He comes from Valence in New Orleans, where he was an art director. Before that, he spent five years as a graphic designer for the Louisiana Restaurant Association. Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a graphic design concentration from Nicholls State University.

Shira Pinsker has been hired as a Community Manager. Before joining Peter Mayer, Shira was working in public relations and copywriting for RTKL, a Washington, D.C.-based architecture firm, along with helping Longue Vue Gardens and The New Movement Comedy Theater with their public relations and social media efforts in New Orleans. She earned bachelor’s degrees in advertising and history from the University of Florida.
