Whitney Bank started the new year by promoting its lower-rate Visa credit card with a new campaign developed by Peter Mayer Advertising.
Playing off of the popularity of diet- and exercise-related new year’s resolutions, the agency titled the promotion “How to lose rate in the new year,” with designs featuring illustrated, anthropomorphic credit cards slimming down at the waist.
The campaign includes in-branch posters and handouts, online advertising running on various sites, a Flash banner on the WhitneyBank.com homepage and linked landing page, and an animated sequence on Whitney ATMs.
